Our simple recipes have nothing to hide. They are the fruit of traditional craftsmanship, a sustainable approach, a voracious desire to share, and lots of love. Truly good sauces

Our sauces, dressings, and spreads continue the old-world craftsmanship. They contain only the essentials: high-quality natural ingredients whose names and origins you know, certified 100% ORGANIC. If our products are so good, it’s because very little is needed to be delicious!

The passion for tradition

Lovers of tradition and well-done work since 1939, we whip our sauces and mayonnaises with bakery beaters as in the past, not with industrial emulsifiers. This artisanal technique guarantees an authentic taste and texture.

Natural ingredients and 100% ORGANIC

All our ingredients are of natural origin and certified ORGANIC, and our products contain no preservatives, additives, or colorants. Oil, eggs, mustard, vinegar, salt... We select and work these raw ingredients with love and respect, in complete transparency.

Products made in Belgium

Our mayos, dressings, spreads, and ORGANIC sauces are manufactured and packaged in Belgium, in our workshop in Namur. A tradition that enriches day by day and allows us to support local craftsmanship, while minimizing our ecological footprint.

1939 : LA MAYONNAISE DE FLUP

In Brussels, everyone loves to go to Chez Flup. This fish shop, located in Forest, owes its name to its owner, Philippe Vryghem, known as "Flup". While the man is known in the neighborhood, it's not just for his fish stall: his homemade mayonnaise that accompanies some of his preparations turns all heads. Egg yolk, mustard, sunflower oil, vinegar, and a bit of salt. Simple, but effective: word of mouth does its work and success is at the rendezvous.

1970: NATURA, NATURALLY

Thirty years and several million whisks later, Flup decides to stop his activity as a fishmonger to dedicate himself exclusively to the production of his artisanal mayonnaise. Thus, the company Natura is born, set up in the old fish shop. Very quickly, the small business manages to seduce major players: first Colruyt for the mayonnaise of its prepared American, then the grocery store Rob. The second generation Vryghem will develop the product in pots and focus on distributing it in small businesses.

1990 : LES VINAIGRETTES D’ARLETTE

Things are going well at Natura, and the sauce range is gradually enriched with new flavors. Visionary, Arlette Vryghem, the great-granddaughter of Philippe, decides to develop a delicious range of dressings. It is at this time that the famous "Brussels Dressing" is born, still produced today.

2012: THE SAUCE SUCCEEDS WITH ARTHUS

After such an epic, the Vryghems decide to pass the baton. But without family successors, there's no question of handing over the company to just anyone. They then find in Arthus de Bousies and his dynamic team worthy heirs to continue writing the story of Natura. For his part, the young entrepreneur sees in Natura beautiful development opportunities and an alignment of values supported by a shared vision.

2014: MOVING FOR MORE MODERNITY

To embrace his vision for sustainability without turning away from tradition, Arthus decides it is time for Natura to relocate. The workshop and offices therefore move to Tubize, in Walloon Brabant, to settle into a more modern building that reduces the environmental impact of production while streamlining processes.

2018: DID YOU SAY ORGANIC ?

Continuing in the line of this sustainable approach that prioritizes the taste of real good things, respect for the planet, natural ingredients, and homemade quality, a range of 100% ORGANIC sauces and dressings is launched and naturally complements Natura's offerings.

2020: PLEASURE FOR ALL WITH VEGAN SPREADS

The world is progressing, mentalities are evolving, and Natura is part of this change. To offer sauces and products that meet the choices and preferences of everyone, the brand launches a new range of spreads. These are tasty, natural, and entirely vegan preparations, perfect for spreading or enjoying as an appetizer.

2024: ORGANIC, THAT'S ALL

The future will be the result of the choices we dare to make today. As a promoter of more responsible eating and a fervent defender of natural and tasty products, Natura decides to transition its entire range to ORGANIC. A meaningful commitment that dear Flup would surely endorse.
